Turkey Time

It's official. I have searched the whole wide internet (okay, only 3 sites) to find this years not-quite-traditional Thanksgiving menu. I wanted to skip the duck this time and go with a good ol' gobbler. D gave me his wishlist and here they are. I give you... the recipes:

Oh, and if any of you are interested, here's the recipe for last year's Honey Duck. We loved it.

  2. Now I'm hungry for a good Thanksgiving meal. Gotta remember to call my mom and see what her plans are. I like the pumpkin layer cheesecake idea.

  3. That sounds YUMMY!! I'm getting out of cooking for Thanksgiving this year. {{Whew}} I'm a terrible cook so it always gives me great stress to cook for others.

I wanted to give you a heads up that TipJunkie.com is doing their 12 Days of Junkie again. I hope you'll head on over and participate like you did last year.

    Hope to see you there!!

  4. Grace- Yeah, never wanna miss the chance to spoof kids shows, especially when the mums are the ones stuck with the theme songs in their heads. It always makes me smile.

Bridgette- I remember attempting some cheesecake swirl thing when I was in middle school. I completely destroyed it. It was burned and looked like crud. Thought I'd give it another go this year. I'm thinking I'll do a post after Thanksgiving with the recipe results.

Laurie- Do you have a crockpot? I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine. They make small crockpots too which would be good for side dishes. That's my companies-coming-what-do-i-do secret. Tasty meals with next to no work.
